Dawn Staley’s mother worked as a caretaker during the day to earn money. Sadly, she passed away from Alzheimer’s in August 2017.
The head coach had returned to South Carolina to stay close to her sick mom. Estelle saw Dawn winning her national championship before her tragic demise.
